Tour Your Future is a career exploration program that connects girls ages
11-16 with Pittsburgh-area institutions and gives them an opportunity to meet female professionals who work in those organizations. The program shows girls that they can find a place in science by introducing them to diverse STEM careers, from avian zoologists to accountants, engineers to surgeons.

Bodiography, 10.08.11 1 - 3 pm
Join GMSP as we go to Bodiography Studio where one renowned Pittsburgh woman is using dance to interpret medicine and science!  We will learn the basics of ballet, how choreography is derived from medicinal research, and have our own chance to choreograph a dance routine!

Magee-Womens Research Institute, 10.15.11 9:30 - 11:30 am
Interested in understanding your own cardiovascular health and what that means from a scientific perspective? Join us as we learn and experiment how our bodies, our choices, and our environment all play a role in blood vessel function- which ultimately affects our overall health!

Peter M. Winter Institute for Simulation Education and Research (WISER) 11.11.11 1 - 3 pm
Join us as we go behind-the-scenes of WISER- one of the top medical simulation and research centers in the world. We'll understand how SimMan mannequins operate and the role they play in helping those pursing medical degrees- all while meeting current students and professionals in the field!

Breathe Yoga Studio 11.19.11 3:30 - 5:30 pm
Do you really know what’s happening with your muscles during a Downward Facing Dog pose? Breathe Yoga Studio will show us the ins and outs of common yoga poses through explanations of the muscles, how they impact our flexibility, and the overall movement we create by using the push and pull of our bodies!
